While my Dad & Mom started their Church History tour in Palmyra on Saturday, July 21st I went up to Canada and went to Niagara Falls.
This was my first time to finally leave the USA. Yeah, yeah it was only to Canada but I just have to take it one step at a time. I was excited to finally use my passport and they don't even stamp your passport going to Canada.
This is from inside behind the falls. There is a walk out area to be able to see the falls up close and personal. I really love this picture because it almost doesn't even look real to me. But believe me, it sure it.
This is literally behind the falls. Out that hole is the water crashing.
I loved all of the flowers up here.
These were the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen. I love the mixture of the yellow and red speckles. I have no idea what kind of flower this is but there was only one little patch that I saw and they were incredible.
When I saw this it reminded me of the old falls that use to be in front of the Idaho Falls Temple.
The power of water is very magnificent.
I took a ride on the Maid of the Midst. It was fun to get close to it and get all wet from it.
There some pretty cool views you can get from the boat.
I love this picture. I am not sure what it is but it almost looks like there is ripples going across the picture but it is actually because of the mist and water spots in from of my camera. This picture was also taken from the boat.
These next few pictures are from the boardwalk which is down the Niagara River in an area with awesome rapids.
As I stood at some of the overlooks I really wanted to go out on a boat and go river rafting over these rapids. That would be an amazing trip.
I decided to take a walk back to where I was parked through some of the city parks. They really do a great job with the landscape in the parks.
Here is another of my favorite pictures. I love the view of the bridge between the trees.
This was a very calm and peaceful area where I enjoyed sitting for a few minutes and taking in nature.
When I got back to the head of the falls. I glanced over and I saw something glimmering.
I went over closer to see what it was and there was a rainbow. It was an incredible site.
It was magnificent to see this rainbow stretched across in front of the falls. It was neat to be able to see both ends of the rainbow.
I took a drive on my way out of town and I stopped off at a Buddhist Temple and took a walk through the grounds.
My last stop was the floral clock. It read Niagara Parks.
It was a great experience to go and see the beauties of nature. It is pretty incredible that we are blessed with such beautiful views to enjoy in this life.
