New York Adventures with Sarah Part 3

Cool looking building in Brooklyn.
If you ever have a few days to spend in a major city the best way to get around and see the most for least amount of money is to get a city pass. We got a New York City pass for 2 days and we got well over our moneys worth. If we would have paid for each thing we did we would have spent probably over $400. But we saved a ton of money by watching the city pass deals and getting it when it was on sale for two days. Gave us access to pretty much anything we wanted to do for free and we also got to skip lines and go to a VIP line.
We walked across the river on the Brooklyn Bridge.

There was a bunch of padlocks attached to the rock wall. I am not sure why they were there but I thought it looked really neat.
We could see the Statue of Liberty from the Bridge.
We saw a pretty park from the Bridge.
We saw the road below us from the Bridge.

Another bridge we saw from the Brooklyn Bridge.
After we walked across the Brooklyn Bridge we went to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden.
We were so tired of walking. Our legs and feet royally hurt. We were not smart in doing Bunker Hill in Boston right before we were going to be walking for 4 days all day long in a row.
There was a Koi pond at the Botanical Gardens. The fish were HUGE!!!

It was really pretty in some areas and then really blah in others.
I didn't take pictures of the blah areas.

We took a boat tour around the harbor. It was a nice break from walking and we got to see a lot of the city from the water.
WWTC
Do we look tired?
We were!!!
We got to go up pretty close to the Statue of Liberty.

We saw a group out on a sail boat.
Colgate Clock.
I thought this looked really interesting. The windows are different colors and it looks like a patchwork building.
Where we got off the water taxi tour we saw another really big Navy Ship

All of your pictures of New York make me miss it so much. The locks on the bridge make me think the Koreans who live there found a new place to lock their love. When you come see me here in Korea I'll explain it to you ;)
