Zip-lining in Vermont

April 7, 2012 my friends Julie Tracy, Kristen Murphy, and I went Zip-Lining in Vermont.
Julie didn't trust her rope to hold her up. It was a fun feeling to just hang off the platform and relax as you are dangerously (if you were not securely fastened) leaning over.

Waiting my turn to fly through the trees.
One of many bridges we crossed over way up in the trees.
This was our fun guide Erin.
Julie trying to muster up the guts to go yet again on the zip line.
Kristen excitedly waiting for Julie to reach the other end so she can go.
A view from up in the trees.

There is Kristen arriving at the platform. Julie is sitting and waiting for everyone to come across.
There I go zip down the line. This was so much fun. A great experience.
The last part of the adventure is repelling down the tree to get on the ground.

This is our whole group that went zip lining for the afternoon.
And we all happily survived.
Julie with our two guides who oh, so patiently waited on her to have the courage to keep going.
The last bridge we crossed heading to the parking area where our van was waiting to take us back to the base.
Erin and I at the base lodge.
A nice view of a mountain out the front door of the zip lining place.

As we were driving down the highway in Vermont we saw these whale tales sticking up out of the ground.
We stopped by a lake and enjoyed the scenery.
We also went to Ben and Jerry's ice cream. Here is the Graveyard of all the flavors they no longer make.
Me, Kristen, Julie
Here is the flavor lab.

They had every type of ice cream scoop you could imagine.

Some pretty tulips.
We had a great time in Vermont. It was a lovely weekend and lots of fun adventures.
