Myeongdong Korea/N Tower

Feb 19th, We went to Myeongdong which is a big shopping district.  This area is mostly used by Japanese tourist who come to stock up on clothes and Korean cosmetics.  This area is full of good shopping and good food.  It has many street food carts and also foreign food restaurants.  It becomes so crowded between the hours of 2-9 everyday.  It can take 15 min to walk 2 blocks sometime.
This was at the base of the glass elevator that we took to climb up the side of the mountain instead of taking about 200 stairs.
A view of the President's house. The blue roof is the building.
A view of the city from the Namsang Tower or also called N-Tower
Pagoda at the top of the hill for N-Tower
The mascot for this area of Seoul.
Lock your love and throw away the key so that it will last forever.
I was asked if I wanted to come and spin a disk on a stick.
It was fun and glad I got the chance to try it out.
Joanna even got the disk to spin. We are so talented.
Trying to get it going again without starting it to spin with my hand.
Then we watched a performance of native dancing and fighting.

By the time the performance was over we were frozen, it was so cold and sitting on the ground was only freezing us from the bottom up. :)
Another view of the city from up at the Tower.
Martha with the N-Tower in the background.
In the last few minutes of the night we went to Hanock Villiage.
Korean traditional housing.

I can only imagine how pretty this place looks in the spring time with running water through the streams and blossoms on the trees and blooming flowers.
The traditional building were pretty neat. The actual village portion was already closed so we didn't get to go inside of any of the buildings and see what they were like on the inside.
