Joanna and I boarded our boat for a 3 hour ride to the Island Koh Phi Phi.
That is not our boat but one we saw come into the harbor.
Someone is taking a cow on that boat.
It was rainy and foggy for our ride out to the island and while on the island.
Joanna enjoying the sun while it was out.
A rain spot got on the camera and blotted out Joanna's face. It was funny to see her without a face so I had to put it on here to remember how we laughed when we looked at the pictures.
Lots of little islands all over.
This is a cave that is inhabited by people. They have solar panels to give them electricity and I could see some ladders inside. It would be interesting to go up close and see it and understand their way of life there. Why do they choose to live in the cave and not on the main land?
Finally made it to our destination. These are little boats they transport people around in.
We were glad to finally be there.
Just a random street.
We went to walk along the beach and lay out if possible and we discovered it was low tide like a mile out low tide.
Little crabs running around far from the water.
This is the part of the Island I likes was seeing the native homes up in the hills.
Not a lot of shrines on the island but there were a few.
We were trying to find a way down to the beach and came across this resort. And there was no way down to the beach so we just enjoyed the view.
Lots of pretty flowers along our path.
Here is a another sort of housing. It is open on both sides. This was sad because it was very barren but you could tell people were living in them. It only provided a roof over their head but not really shelter from the heat or sideways rain.
This was our pool at our resort. Since the tide was a mile low we came here to get some water time.
Dinner I got a Mango curry and it was delicious and only $4.
Joanna got Pai Thai and also really enjoyed her dinner.
We enjoyed our first day on the island but it was way over run with tourist. I think i has lost its beauty that it once had.
